You’ve clicked this because you’re about to create a website, and want to know how to make it good, right? Well, you’re in the right place. Have a read of my top tips for the best website ever:
Improve Functionality And Design
When I look at a website, two questions pop into my head. Does it function properly? And, does it look good? If the answer to both is yes, then you’ve got yourself a brilliant website. However, if it’s no, then you’ll be in trouble. No one likes websites that are a pain to use. Slow loading speeds and unresponsive links are the two worst things. Similarly, if it looks bad, then people get put off. So, my advice is to spend lots of time testing your website before you launch it. Make sure that everything works properly, so your website is responsive. Likewise, get yourself some web design advice to ensure you have the best-looking site possible.
Improve Conversion Rate Optimization
A lot of people build websites and focus on their SEO, and that’s fine. In fact, it’s another one of my top tips that I’ll go into in more detail after this. But, most people tend to forget about CRO too. This is how you turn website visitors, into customers. It’s how you ensure that all your amazing web traffic is worthwhile. After all, there’s no point in getting loads of web traffic if they aren’t contributing at all. You want people on your site, and you want them spending their money. A quick way to improve your CRO is to get inside the mind of the consumer. What things attract you to buy stuff from sites? For me, I get pulled in when I see a large ‘SALE’ banner on a homepage. Even if I had no intention of spending before, a sale certainly hooks me in.

Improve Search Engine Optimization (And Increase Web Traffic)
As mentioned above, SEO is very important for a good website. In general, you need to focus on generating lots of web traffic. And, search engines are the number one way that people find new websites. People will type things into Google all day, every day. If your website has bad SEO, then all these people aren’t going to find you. Use various techniques to improve your search engine performance and get recognized. Then, more people will see your site, meaning more will visit it. If I had to suggest one thing that helps improve SEO, it would be link building. Having lots of backlinks to your website will help boost it up the rankings considerably.
Improve Your Domain Name
One thing that lets lots of sites down is their domain name. Now, you’re going to have to pay for a good domain name; that’s a fact. Any free ones won’t look professional, and will let you down. Think long and hard and secure a domain name that’s fitting for your website. It may seem like a small thing, but it’s very important.
Make sure you follow these tips and you’ll be destined to have a brilliant website!
